Enjoy the “Residents Only” Double-Ten Bus Discount: Your first 10 km are free on every ride!

📝 Step 1: Prepare Your Documents

Before heading out, make sure you have these three items ready:

  1. Your IC Card：The card you wish to link (e.g., EasyCard or iPASS).
  2. ID： Your original Passport or your ARC.
  3. Certificate of Enrollment：
    • How to get it: Log in to the Student Information System(學生資訊系統) to download and print it. Please note that this is only available 3 days after you pay your tuition. <🔗Download Instructions>
    • Note: It takes time for bank payments to process. Do not attempt to download the certificate on the same day you pay, as the system will not have your updated records yet.

💻 Step 2: Fill Out the Online Application

Complete the online form beforehand to save time during your in-person visit.

🏢 Step 3: Visit City Hall in Person

Bring your documents and your IC card to Taichung City Hall to finalize the link.

  • Location: Taichung City Hall (臺中市政府)
  • Address: No. 99, Sec. 3, Taiwan Blvd., Xitun Dist., Taichung City
  • How to get there: Take any bus to the “City Hall” (市政府) stop.

⏰ Service Hours

Monday to Friday (週一至週五)

  • Morning: 08:00 – 12:00
  • Afternoon: 13:00 – 17:00
    (Closed for lunch from 12:00 – 13:00; please avoid visiting during this break.)

💡 Tips

  • Once linked, you will automatically receive the “10 km Free” discount on all Taichung City buses.
  • Remember to tap your card both when boarding and getting off to ensure the discount is applied correctly.
