The revised “MOE Directions for Subsidizing Domestic Universities and Colleges to Select Students for Overseas Study or Professional Internship” was announced on the university website on November 14, 2025, and will take effect on January 1, 2026. Please refer to the highlighted sections (in yellow) for the amended articles.
♦ Important Reminder: For all Study Abroad programs, an administrative contract must be signed before the selected students depart overseas. Without the signed contract, the subsidy cannot be granted. Each department must complete the internal approval process before the student’s departure (including during winter and summer breaks). The submission must include the parental consent form, the administrative contract, and other required documents. It must be reviewed by the Office of Academic Affairs, Office of Student Affairs, Office of International Affairs, and the Accounting Office, and approved by the President before the project may proceed.
♦ Before departure, departments must assist students in obtaining a valid visa in compliance with local regulations, as well as arranging medical and accident insurance coverage.
